Riverside First Responders
The Riverside First Responders (otherwise known as RQRS) was founded in ???? by members of the Riverside Fire Department who saw a community need for quick response of basic life support and first aid. The First Responders is an elective extension of the fire department that any member of the department may join as long as they have been certified as at least a FR-D by the Iowa Department of Public Health.
The First Responders are not funded by tax dollars, and rely solely on fund raisers and donations to keep operating.
